Tinashe - Pretend Remix (feat. Mantiz)

Ok so here's the thing. I wasn't gonna post this song at all because it's for a contest. Then last night I saw a post that kinda promoted another artist in the contest. So I decided "fuck this. I put too much thought into this verse to let it go unheard in the event that I don't win." And this isn't me bowing out, this is just me being that confident in myself as an emcee. I feel a lot of folks overlook that. Yeah, I produce. Yeah, I sing. Yeah, I engineer. But my first love is emceeing. I'm humble as fuck but sometimes I wanna just black out cuz you don't get respect until you disrespect someone else. But nonetheless, I've seen how this new wave of the culture works and I can't just give you a "Control" verse on every record. Why? Cuz you wouldn't buy it. But here's to Tinashe, whose actually supposed to be the deciding judge in the contest... yeah right.

The last #TizzyTuesday of 2014. Happy New Year everyone. Thank You For Listening.

Jeezy - Me OK (Remix) (feat. Mantiz)

I know... I'm a little late. I been on the phone and sending emails all day. Took time to write this verse right quick. Now that we're into the second half of the year, I think it's best that I finish it out strong. Stay tuned y'all. Peace.

Oh yeah, shoutout to CTE.

Kid Ink - Main Chick (Remix) (feat. Chris Brown & Mantiz)

I was late dropping this one... my bad. But I like this joint. I'm a Kid Ink fan. He got a hell of a swagger about him... so much so Chris Brown became his best friend after stealing it from the nigga lol. But either way, here's another one. Uh, and another one.

Snootie Wild - Made Me (Remix) (feat. K. Camp & Mantiz)

Man as SOON as I heard this joint... I just knew I had to snap on it one time. Big Fruit may have the best 808 in the game right now. And Camp is WINNING. I'm so proud of that dude for real. I can't lie, I wasn't a Snootie Wild fan at first but "Yayo" does feel good in the club. And I feel like this record is strong street material. Maybe not a Billboard topper, but definitely something for the streets and the strip clubs.

So there's been a lotta talk here and there about my dealings and whereabouts. Some funny accusations and whatnot about me moving to Atlanta. What's understood won't have to be explained, and when you're grown like I am, you won't explain what you don't feel like explaining anyway. I'll let these lames linger on a while longer I guess. But in the meantime, check the second verse.

It's #TizzyTuesday by the way.

B. Smyth - Twerkaholic (Remix) (feat. Mantiz)

The last joint of Tizzy Tuesday will be one that was actually requested by my biggest fan... So here's "Twerkaholic". I hope y'all like it. See you next week.

Usher - Good Kisser (Remix) (feat. Mantiz)

If you've been following my Twitter, you know EXACTLY how much I love this song. I had this joint sitting and I shoulda dropped it LAST WEEK for #TizzyTuesday... but unfortunately Rick Ross dropped a verse yesterday. Nonetheless... here's the remix.

Diggy - My Girl (Remix) (feat. Mantiz & Trevor Jackson)

Man shoutout to Diggy Simmons yo. The moment I heard this song I just knew I had to do this remix. Trevor Jackson is the dopest by far. I love seeing young cats with talent. And as far as my contribution, it is what it is. Oh and I tried to upload it to SoundCloud but went thru that copyright bullshit again like I did with the Wale joint. I can respect it. Gotta follow the rules or at least find a loophole.

Mantiz - 27

Happy Birthday to me. God willing, I'm still alive to feel this euphoria while you read this and listen. God forbid if I'm not. But in the event, I just wanted to leave you all with this. May not be the best work I've ever released, but I smiled the entire time while making it. I love you all, peace.

Mantiz - "27" Artwork

You may or may not feel the exact same sentiments, but to see this cover right now is a blessing for me. I'm happy. Overjoyed. Even a bit overwhelmed. Look at how I've grown lol... Shoutout to everyone on my Instagram for the double taps. See y'all next Tuesday.

Mantiz - 808s & Liquor (feat. Ravi Banks) (prod. Alyas "Boom" Gary)

I'm quite sure I either threw you off with the artwork or it just went completely over your head. Possibly to the point where you didn't care. I'm sure of it. I guess I'll explain myself. The familiar character in the drawing goes by the name of Punchy. Punchy is famous for actually offering a guy named Opus some Hawaiian Punch and severely knocking his ass out in a 1960s Hawaiian Punch commercial.

What does that have to do with anything? Everything. "808s", as far as my songwriting is concerned is referring to the synthesized bass in popular music. But that woulda been too easy to get a Roland TR-808 machine and use that picture. Let's go deeper. 808 is actually the Hawaii area code. Hawaiian Punch's original slogan was "let's have a party." Well I'm grown and we don't drink sugared beverages at nightclubs... Connect the dots. It's actually kinda artistic what I did there. Plus Punchy is holding a cocktail. You missed that.

Now... "808s & Liquor" is today's #TizzyTuesday installment. My brother Boom gave me this beat two years ago and I sat on the concept and decided it was time to put out this brilliant piece. Trust, I've never been overly into myself as a songwriter, but I believe this song may be one of the dopest pieces I've ever penned. I hope you feel the same.

Listen to the words and not just the beat.

Mantiz - Floetry (arr. Tha Officialz)

Whaddup y'all... Did I tell you about this "New Music November" thing I have going on? No? Aw man... well check it. I have a brand new single called "Nobodys Watchin" that I've been tweeting about and I'm finally gonna release it on Tuesday, November 26th right before Thanksgiving. I figure that's a nice wait in the meantime so I would also give out a few freebies to hold you this holiday season while I prepare for 2014.

So as far as I'm concerned, EVERY Tuesday is #TizzyTuesday. And today, I'm giving you a song that I wrote from the gut with passion. My homie Half Tyme Slim sent me the beat and said "see what you can do with it". So when I played it, I IMMEDIATELY thought of "Say Yes" by Floetry. Whaddup Marsha.

So um... I hope you like it and I hope you experience the best possible romance with it playing in the background. Peace.
