Happy Birthday to me. God willing, I'm still alive to feel this euphoria while you read this and listen. God forbid if I'm not. But in the event, I just wanted to leave you all with this. May not be the best work I've ever released, but I smiled the entire time while making it. I love you all, peace.

Check this out... As a producer, I challenge myself and my limited resources every single time I sit at my desk. And upon working alongside my father and uncle, I feel like I've accomplished things musically with this "Family Affair" album that guys my age shouldn't be able to fathom. Take for example this single "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted". Somehow, someway, I recreated the Motown feeling and added some extra "umph" to it and I feel I helped bring out a piece of the artist my dad was always destined to be. Peace to Jimmy Ruffin. It feels like we got one.

Oh and my lovely Melodik Tonez on the background vocals too by the way. She sounds so good, don't you agree?

Today is a bittersweet one because it actually marks the 2-year anniversary of the release of 'Autocracy's predecessor, "The Preface: Democracy".... as well as today would have been my grandfather's 78th birthday.
