PENTHOUSE is the debut EP from Frank Jordon. We spent the last few years developing our sound and releasing singles, building his following. He's older now and I think he's finally ready to present a full-length body of work. So this EP serves as the official first part of the rollout to our joint project, "Invite Only", coming later this year. 

I guess it goes without saying that this comes from the maniacal mind of Mantiz, so when I say "executive produced by", you should already know exactly what's going on.

I've waited a whole year to drop this one off on you. I didn't have any real birthday plans last year, and Rock told me we could all go up to one of his vacation spots and celebrate. A nice spot too, in the mountains. I took my recording setup with me, and we created this joint right in the living room... All while enjoying for the first time some King Louis XIII. Incredible strain by the way, definitely top shelf.

Shoutout my homegirl CoJo, who came thru with the additional vocals for me. I just knew she would be the voice I heard in my head. Thank You For Listening. SUMMER OF THE BOPS.

This one is DEFINITELY one of those for me. Me and Beezy go way back. Always had a mutual love and respect for one another. When we developed our partnership, this was the first joint we made. It was a great day in the studio that day. Shoutout to my brother Fosterchild, we're building step by step. And Frank does exactly what he's supposed to.

I've always loved "Footsteps In The Dark" by The Isley Brothers. Last year during the VERZUZ with Earth Wind & Fire, I finally took the challenge upon myself and found a way to flip the melody. Rock and Frank caught the spirit, and the rest is a vibe. 

This is probably, off the top of my head, the first beat I made that sent me in the direction of doing the SUMMER OF THE BOPS campaign in the first place. One of my favorite joints we have in the vault.

Mantiz & Rock Ransom - Stay Highdrated EP

Well... We made it. This project was actually a few years in the making due to my recent success as a producer and a new father all at the very beginning of a pandemic. I guess I'll start from the top.

Rock and I have known each other for over a decade now. We've bonded over many different ideas and interests, then I became a smoker... and nothing was the same. Through a few quick conversations, he became my artist as well as my longtime friend and we began working on music for his R Dot debut. I got the idea to create a joint EP to showcase our chemistry as his introductory presentation. No, we're not a group. He's done that already. We just really like rapping together because we're really good at it.

So over the course of November 2018 to April 2019, we created these songs to present a small 15-minute mini-movie for your listening pleasure. Many stories we have to share about the "behind the scenes" of this project, but you just gotta stay tuned to catch them. Seriously, stay tuned. 

It's so much I really want to say, but I don't want to be long-winded about it.

I had the pleasure of traveling all the way to Denver to not only smoke some of the finest cheeba, but to produce this dope ass project for my brother DC Baby. I didn't make any of these records prior to arriving in Denver. I literally hit a few dispensaries, grabbed a few flavors, set up in my hotel room, and cranked these out. We record the project in a few hours. Great vibes with even greater people.
